Curated for Visual Space Gallery's AiOM Fundraising Exhibition

I’m really pleased to share that my work has been selected for Artists in Our Midst’s first fundraising exhibition at Visual Space Gallery, taking place January 30 to February 1, 2026.

This exhibition feels significant - not only because it’s being held in a well-established Vancouver gallery, but because it represents a new step forward for AiOM. The show brings together artists from across the community to raise funds in support of the West of Main Art Walk, an annual event that helps keep local, accessible art visible and alive in our neighbourhoods.

The exhibition also coincides with my first year as President of Artists in Our Midst, making the experience of participating as an artist feel especially layered and meaningful. As a participating artist, I’m especially appreciative of the care and coordination involved in mounting a group exhibition of this scale. From artwork selection and pricing to delivery, installation, and hosting, it takes many hands to make something like this possible. I’m grateful to the organizers and volunteers who are helping shape what we hope will become an annual tradition.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, January 31, from 2 to 4 pm, and I’m looking forward to sharing space with fellow artists, reconnecting with the community, and celebrating the work together.

More details soon - but for now, I’m simply glad to be part of a collective effort that values collaboration, generosity, and the shared belief that art thrives when it’s supported by community.
